Director of Biostatistics

Mr. Tores joined IntegraGen as Biostatistician in July 2000. Since the early beginnings of the Company, he designed and performed a large number of statistical analysis, i.e. GenomeHIP™ technology and many association studies. Since March 2006, he holds the position of Director of Biostatistics.

After receiving his Bachelor at Applied Mathematics, numerical analysis and stochastic calculus from the University of Paris?, France, Mr. Tores specialized in Biomathematics (Master's Degree). During additional 5 years, Mr. Tores studied Genetic Epidemiology at the INSERM U358 headed by Florence Demenais. Furthermore, he has also worked on projects with the CNRS and INFOBIOGEN, a French bioinformatic resources group.

Dr Bernard Courtieu spoke at the 3rd Meeting of the Pharmaceutical Industry in Barcelona. Date : November 5th, 2009.

His presentation focused on new approaches and business models to innovation for biotech markets.

9 june 2009 : Bernard Courtieu, CEO of IntegraGen, attended the AMIPS* conference on "Drug development for personalised medicine". His presentation focused on biomarkers development for Neurology.
